The Most Delicious Russian Cream Recipe
Before I met and married into Josh’s family, I had never heard of Russian Cream. Now I can’t imagine the holidays without it! It’s basically creamy, vanilla jello with fruit on top. It’s the best!
I’ve actually never made it until I made it for this blog, but now that I have, watch out world! I will be making this for years to come! Here is what you will need for this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 envelope of unflavored Knox gelatin
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup whipping cream keep cold until used
- 1.5 cups sour cream
- 1.5 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups of fruit of your choice for topping

7 ingredients! That’s not bad at all.
Directions:
To start, you will want to add the sugar, envelope of gelatin, and water to a saucepan, mix, and let sit for 5 minutes. Don’t turn on the heat yet and make the same mistake I did!
Once the mixture has set, bring it to a boil. As soon as it is at a rolling boil while stirring, remove the pan from the heat and add the whipping cream, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix between adding each ingredient to make sure that the mixture is well-mixed.
Pour into a bundt pan (silicone for easier removal) or into individual cups and refrigerate until set.
Serve with the fruit of your choice! I recommend berries. They create a delicious burst of flavor in your mouth when eaten with Russian Cream. Like a pretzel M&M.
Let me know if you guys try it and how it turns out!
