Camping in Utah

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not much of a camper, but we went with some friends a while ago and it was SO FUN! Camping in Utah is so different than camping in Arizona where I grew up. It’s beautiful! All you Utah folks, we highly recommend Whitings Campground in Mapleton. It’s not too far in the mountains but it feels like all there is mountains around you. It’s AMAZING!

We forgot our lanterns, so after the sun went down, our only sources of light were our tiny phone flashlights. We always thought they were so bright, but they didn’t stand a chance against the darkness of the mountains. Note to self, pack the lanterns first next time.
